About Calacles

Calacles (ka-lə-ˈklēs) is first and foremost an expression and celebration of our beloved home state, California. Our name is also a celebration of founder Adam Harris’s alma mater, the University of California, Berkeley (Cal for short) — Go Bears! Cal is considered the Athens of the West and the Calacles name is meant to evoke comparison to Calicles, the Athenian sophist.

And last but certainly not least, we must mention the Lamborghini Concept car, the Cala, which resulted in the creation of the most-produced Lamborghini in existence, the Gallardo – motivating us to stay quick, innovative, and full of rev.
